Bio
Bruce (he/him) spent his childhood in Norwalk, CA and went on to UCLA for a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry before heading to Boston University for the MAMS program. He then matriculated at ATSU-SOMA (Washington, DC cohort) for his DO degree and completed a pediatric residency and an additional chief year at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. He was drawn to caring for children experiencing mental health challenges early on his pediatric residency and found the opportunity to train with the Post Pediatric Portal Program through Penn and CHOP in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry He is particularly interested in working with children experiencing comorbid psychiatric and complex medical conditions, integrated/collaborative care, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ population.
